Why "Blind Faith" is Actually Unbiblical - The Drive Bible Podcast

Sep 19, 2026    Pastor Spencer Fusselman, Bob Huffman

Faith isn't a blind leap. It's holding a legal title deed. Body:

The world loves to mock Christians, saying our faith is just a "blind leap in the dark." But that is NOT what the Bible teaches!

In Hebrews 11:1, it says faith is the substance of things hoped for. The ancient Greek word for substance there is hupostasis—which was a legal business term for a "title deed." If you hold the title deed to a piece of property, you don't have to be physically standing on it to know you own it!

In this week's episode of The Drive Bible Podcast, Bob and Spencer break down the "Hall of Faith" to show you what unshakeable trust in God actually looks like.

Faith isn't closing your eyes and hoping for the best; it's holding the title deed to a promise God has already signed.
